916 price guide?

A local dealer has a "mint" 916Bip in red, '97 reg, FDSH, 2 owners from new, 2500 miles on the clock - price: £5750. inc Termi's and OE pipes.

Is this steep or not too bad? Dunno what an average mileage one would normally go for.

I know I've been looking at the 748S but this sounds tempting. Haven't seen it yet but the guy on the phone was raving about how it really IS mint. I will reserve judgement until I see it though.

Anyone any ideas about the price in the meantime?

Ta!

hi mate, maybe a little bit more than some BP's around.
I paid 5500 for a 97 916 BP with heaps of kit on it from forza italia I had last summer , it was as new.
sold it recenlty for nearly same money.
So it depends on what you want...
cheers

Sounds a bit overpriced to me. CMW in chichester have a low mileage 97 916BP for sale at £4999 c/w 50mm termi's and alarm. As a rule i find CMW prices are at the top end for ducatis. Usually very good quality bikes with history.
