900ss Alloy swingarm adjusters Hi, i have recently got hold of an alloy swingarm for my 600ss, only trouble it came with out the adjuster blocks so consequently i need some. Does anyone have some to sell. Or would anyone be kind enough to take photos with measurements so i can make some. cheers jamie |
It does make you wonder where all the adjuster blocks go, if I was having some made I would probably go for round ones. I almost did this a few years ago but in the end I managed to source a set of original adjusters on Ebay |
Do you really need measurements? Surely you need something to fit into the channel in the swingarm. Measure the width of the channel and make the block that size (square). The important bit is having the adjuster bolt on each side that locks into the swingarm itself. |
Hi, The standard blocks have an angled cut to fit the channel in the arm, i can make some out of big chunks of ally, just would be easier if i had some to use as a master sample. Quote:

Must admit they do look very similar to ones from my old Husqvarna Enduro bike Which isn't that suprising as my Husky had little Cagiva Elephants all over it |

LOVELY! Do you mind if I use this on my Proboards Info site please? (Just let me know how you'd like to be mentioned) Cheers - Frank |

Thank You! Jasper did me a nice set of Stainless axle washers and nuts that look, erm the 'nuts' but I guess you DD guys will be all Ti ;) |

Just to show the powers that be that some of us read the rule book. Axles are not allowed to be Ti. :D :o I had my 749 ones done the raw bar of grade 5 Ti was £200 3 years ago. |
