749 race replica

Thinking of a race rep for my track 749.

What would you guys like to see?

Hodgsons AMA?
Breil 749r?
Renegade?

Let me know as it would be interesting to find out other peoples opinion.

cheers

Has to be Breil 749r....looked great in the flesh.

Only one choice on a 749 - Breil. Might be worth waiting to see the new Supersport paintjob though?

As the 749 is more like a Honda than a (real) Ducati, how about a nice Repsol paint scheme ? I've always liked the Repsol colours......

Can't see the similarity myself having owned a honda, 748r and the 749.
maybe you could give the definition of a 'real' Ducati?:puzzled:

Sure -

Beautiful, individual, full of character, challenging to ride, instantly recognisable (even to non-bikers), not very comfortable, complicated and expensive to produce, etc. etc.

You should know if you had a 748r !

sounds as though you should spend more time on the 'real' Ducati portion of this web site rather than picking on us poor 'Honda' riders who are obviously making the mistake in seeing all those things in the 749/999.

For me personally, I also hated the new bike when 1st released but decided to experience the bike through ownership and experience before voicing my opinion.

I do agree that the 'old' design encapsulated Ducati as a brand but I also congratulate them on moving with the times and making such radical design changes.
