Front wheel allen socket

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells a 14mm allen socket to fit the front wheel spindle?

Rattler 05-Nov-2006 16:34

I think that Halfords may do these - not sure if they do a 14mm though. Any specialist tool place will do these though.

I have a spare one I could sell that fits a 1/2" drive

Iconic944ss 05-Nov-2006 17:06

Yep Halfords do sell them - I'd recommend going for a set of sockets - they always come in useful sooner or later.

Buy a "Sump plug socket" in 14mm, only 3 quid from Halfrauds. Worked fine for me!

Red-Duc 06-Nov-2006 02:43

Went to Halfords but they only go upto 12mm, Never thought of looking at the drain plugs though, They have some good offers on socket sets at the moment 150pc was £150 now £99 lifetime guarantee.

Skidlids, Im interested if i dont get to pick one up on monday and your not to far away from me, How much do you want for it?

I'm not about until after work, which should be about 5pm, although the last 3 days last week it was 8:30pm, 10:30pm and 8:30pm.

So what time will you be over my way, bearing in mind the state of the Oxford ringroad after about 4pm for next couple of hours
