Apparently if a international company transfers its goods from one country to another, they don't pay the VAT and Import duty?? So, if I were to buy the bike under a company name and bring it over, do ya reckon its possible to get around it? |
Speak to Paul (Ozz) about company accounts - he'll know.
You should be able to claim the VAT if it's used for businesses purposes in this country, and you may be able to write some of it off against tax too. This is what the guy who bought my bike new did.
