I doubt Bayliss will go - sure he's been struggling of late but so has Capirossi. The bikes obviously haven't moved on from last year and it's just finding that little bit of extra to keep pace with the Hondas to bring them back to the front.

Rossi getting the Yamaha back on the pace is also another twist of the knife for Ducati as Yamaha have dropped into second manufacturer slot, taking Ducati's place from last year.

So yes, the pressure is on but I doubt they would find a more committed rider than Bayliss, both on the track and to the brand.

Who seriously would replace him? Rossi? Doubt that. Biaggi? He'll stay with Honda, as will Gibbers, Hayden, Edwards, and most of the other Honda riders that have been on form this year. Ducati aren't going to bring in someone like Hodgson, Xaus or even Laconi / Toseland in place of Bayliss either!
