With the improved exhaust flow the gasses should escape quicker, but without changing the inflow (ie, an improved filter / airbox) then you shouldn't get that much of a difference? Running lean will mean it will burn hotter so could cause running problems; it's always better to have too much fuel than not enough! There is a fuel trimmer in the ECU which can be adjusted with the right kit as sadly it's not the case of turning a screw like it was on the old models. But we can sort that out for you, or just try the DP ECU and see how it runs with that on it. |
