Hi peeps,

can anyone help? What are your suggestions for good all round tyres for my 748? I need to get the confidence up a bit and am at present running mismatched tyres. Advice from the Mille lads have told me to put a pair on - and yes i know they are right - but which ones?

They need to stick to the road like nobody's business and good in the wet - not that I ride in it - may get caught in it now and again.

Thanx

I'm a Pirelli Corsa fan (I run SuperCorsa's which I wouldn't recommend for road riding in the wet)

I've heard that Bridgestone are the go in the wet, but I've never tried them.

More Bridgestone fans?

Pirelli Diablos, not the Corsa ones as they're cr@p in the wet.

I like Pirelli Diablo's or Diablo Corsa's. Both are excellent, loads of grip. The Corsa is more track focused and not quite as good in the wet (but still better than a lot of other makes)

i dont go out if it looks like rain so i run rensports [not much cut]
if you intend to go out on the bad days ie most of the time, then go for the BT010's its a very good tyre

Standard Diablo`s, a cracking tyre, can not fault them:sing::sing::sing::sing:

Thats because the Corsas have a lot less Silica than the normal Diablos

So my choices would be Diablos, Sportecss or BT010s in that order.

Hi Phillip,

I was advised to run front and back 36. Not sure where that came from. are the Michelins good in the wet as well - if you get caught out that is.

And again many thanks to all for helping with this.

I've used BT010 on quite a few bikes since they came out and been well pleased, but have now tried Diablo's and think they're a bit better, (then again they are a newer tyre).

My choice would be standard Diablos for road use unless the BT010's are a lot cheaper.
