HAs anyone got a pic or the details of the light that comes with the Evoluzione number plate kit, that sits on the bottom of the undertray, or even better has anyone not fitted it and will part with it?
Thanks

I've got one fited.
What do you need to know? I can tell you that it is a waste of time! The bulb is a tiny little jobbie, about the size of a grain of rice!!! Its purely a token gesture and due to its positioning (about 4-5 inches away from the actual plate) is absolutlely useless!
If your concerns are being legal...then you would need a better bulb anyhow I would imagine. If your not worried about that then I wouldn't bother fitting the bulb in the first place.
Nelly stocks them...sure he'll be along in a mo.
I have one fitted but agree with Harv...chocolate teapot!
However..note that number plate lights are not required for motorcycle MOT tests....they are not listed as an item to test so ya don't need one!

I 'think' (he says looking skywards) that the plastic cover just unscrews to reveal the bulb, which then also unscrews.
From what I remember..the plastic cover can be a little tight to turn...may need to get a pair of pliers on it...just be gentle:P
be genle with please harv

So does anyone no for definate if you need to have the number plate light for MOT??
I was told during an MOT a couple of years ago that my numberplate light was U/S..then he said it wasn't required anyway as it wasn't on the test items for a bike.
Maybe it's changed since then? Ring an MOT station and find out.
Richard
Remember the discussion a few weeks back about whether you had to have indicators / lights on your bike? This came up in connection with riding trackday-only bikes on the road. You wouldn't fail the MOT if you take off the indicators, etc, but the concensus was that although an item isn't part of the MOT test, it is still required for the vehicle to be road-legal. I imagine the number plate light falls into this category.
