I have a 200o X plate 748E with 4500 miles, serviced every year, and last year had the interim service( the one before the 12,000 biggie)

What typical cost for the 12,000 service, at a good dealer in midlands??

i reckon it could be anywhere between 400 and 600 based on my last service.

However it could be a bit more if you need brake pads and if you need rockers etc.

For servicing in the midlands you could either go to JHP (Ducati Coventry) or to Cornerspeed - Nelly on the board. Both are highly praised and very helpful.

Midlands?

Look no further than Cornerspeed. Top place, run by a top DSC member. Recommended by loads of people on this board for quality of work at a fair price.

It's out of warranty so no need to go to an authorised dealer if money is the major concern.

Interim should be around 300 - 400 from a Ducati Specialist. Ducati showroom prices will be higher. Major will be high 500's with belts.

I have a X-plate 2000 748s, 5750miles and have it booked for its first 6000 mile service with Cornerspeed in April. I think they said its about £450 with belts. Hoping that's it because thats all I've got (you listening chaps).

This is who I use, and should give you an idea of price and what's included. Pretty certain Nelly at Cornerspeed is comparable to this.

These guys are now an official Ducati dealer, but intend to maintain these prices...
