Just got my replacement bike locks after I sent mine back due to the barrel lock scare. The new "D" locks are a lot more substantial and use a "proper" key.The cable lock I had has been replaced with a huge chain and padlock.
Nice one, gawd knows how much its costing them tho!:o

Yeah, but they had no choice in the end though, with all the bad publicity they were getting, and they took their sweet time about sorting it too..! Up until recently they have only replaced locks sent back by individual customers rather than withdrawing them from sale.

I posted two disc locks back to them at the end of last year.

After several emails etc they have now decided they never received them and that its my bad luck.

A few more emails later and still no joy as an act of goodwill they offered me any of there products at a 50% reduction which I declined.

Not going to let it go, but in the future they have lost my custom.

Does it cover all products? I got a free Oxford Junior lock with MCN ages ago (like years!) and I can open it with a pen no problem. Can I get a replacement? It's a knackered old thing, but it would be nice to have a replacement!

I think so, but send it recorded and keep the receipt.
