Was it the KTM oil cooler that was the dodgy one?

And if it was changed would it (could it) be for another KTM one or another type?

Any one know?

Yep some of the early KTM oil coolers were replaced under the recall. Some were swapped for another KTM item others for a Toyo.
I seem to remember the problem was where the oil pipe unions connect. If the pipe entry spigot is welded onto the cooler it should be ok.Some were friction fit, pushed in.
There were one or two threads on the subject, try the search option.
It takes a dealer around 30secs to check it,if you're worried.

Ta. I'll try a search. As far as I am concerned it should have been replaced whilst on service in Oct last year. However, I noticed it is still a KTM unit so I am now not sure whether it was or not. I could go and ask the dealer whether it was done, but I wouldn't want then to think I didn't trust them to do it because they have never given me any reason to think they wouldn't have. I guess I was just surprised to see it was still a KTM.

I'll go and look for welds ...

The original KTM ones were replaced with newer KTM version
the old type had the a pressed seam down the sides for the ends of the rad on the modded one the seams are welded.

So look for welded seams down the front of the rad on each end

I have the receipt of the warrenty work done kept with my service book !

That's a point, bet it's on the invoice - wherevet that might be. Not very organised with stuff, unless it's in electronic format on the PC! :)

Thanks for the info, I'll go seam inspecting next time the fairing comes off. Just to satisfy my curiosity, but I am sure it would have been done.
