If we had a pick of all the uk tracks where would you like to go the most?

Isle of Man, to be able to say "I did it" when I will go back in France :D
UK, Thruxton.... no straights, all bends
Europe, Monza, Imola and Mugello.... the straights mainly.
USA Laguna, cork screw looks mad
Would like to see these 4 on the list...
Oulton Park
Brands GP
Donington National
Cadwell GP
...don't mind about the rest :)

I'd add the Silverstone GP track to these, and that would do me.
I know it's not that popular but there's LOTS of overtaking places!
Oh and Weeksy, we're not being realistic! That's the point, we're just talking about circuits we'd like to race in!

That was the question though Steve

JESUS !
No-one said you were! Talk about a MAJOR over-reaction. Duck, dummy coming through!
You missed the point of the thread, I was just pointing it out. We were talking about which tracks we'd like to race on, not which ones were economicaly feasible.
You're hanging on far too tight mate! Let goooooooo ....
Domski, we get to race Donny National and Cadwell GP (I'm assuming when it says full circuit it's the same as the GP?) so they will be very cool. Lots of overtaking places on those and some nice fast sections - I can't wait for those!

Is the National the one with the Melbourne Loop in it ?

Nup, that's the GP circuit. I haven't done either but the national seems to be everyones favourite.
I personally wouldn't mind doing the GP because the Melbourne Loop is another passing opportunity on the brakes.

I didn't like the loop bit - Mind you I had new tyres and it was hissing down - The rest of the circuit was nice though :)
...and another opportunity for brake failure  (I have experience of that too - shouldn't have said that, doh!)

Other than the ones we're doing, for me it'd be great to do Oulton and Brands GP.
Just sooooooooo fast and the kinda circuits where you always feel that you can take every bend a few mph faster, even though you've just been through there the fastest you've ever been!!!!!
Sweeeeeeeet!!!

and i can take all the lads out to the strip joints after the race :)
Surprised you've never been Steve, been quite a bit over the last few years, proper club racing :D It actually looks like quite a good little circuit, the last corner onto the start finish straight is a bit like a mini gerrards, always the odd highside out of there!
But amen to your last comment, Angels in L'Pool..... Ah the memories ;)

At Aintree they use the road that you see the TV crew etc on at the Grand National, but only the part over the Malling Road. It's very flat but a good track to ride. There is a full length circuit that's not used now that was used for the the British F1 GP in the fifties.
I feel a Saturday ride out coming on:)

Could be a plan Steve, £5 to get in, grab a bag of chips and an ice cream :)
I know a few guys who race classics up there, need to find some dates!
