Hi Guys,Doris developed a rattle at cadwell which appears to be front cyl little end,I got a new bush from ducati 066047290 which im assured is correct, problem is the pin wont go through it,Is it normal to have to hone this bush after fitting,I have not fitted it to the rod yet but pin wont go in,
Any help/advise appreciated guys.

Measure it up to check that things are close. Press it into the rod & get it honed to size. Bit like you'd do with a valve guide really.

I've not done a small end other than a two stroke but back in the 80s I use to use a Reamer for the valve guides. That way you could probably do it in Situ

Your just taking the P again, just because I used my phone for the previous post
didn't quite come out as intended
On 2-strokes I just had to change the needle roller bearings in the small end
and on 4-stroke I would use a reamer to get the correct internal bore on the valve guides
Something like this
