Just noticed that I have more right loch than left, so the headstock has taken a bit of a batter when the bars hit the deck.
Apart from a basic visual check to make sure everything looks to be lining up and a test run, is there anything else I can do to check my front end is ok? She still rides fine and corners well.
I noticed my tie wrap on my fork was pushed to within about 10mm of the botton of the base. Cant beleive how badly I went for the brake

Sounds like you've damaged a lock stop. I know, it happened on my bike...

yup sounds like that to me so stick your head under the front of the fairing and youll see the lock stop there.

The lockstop is the ****iest peice of metal you have ever seen, the way i dealt with this problen when it happened to me was to take a hammer to the offending part. Dont make a habit of bending this part as after a while it may snap off.

Sounds about right, bottom of the head tube you'll see a flimsy tab of metal, probably bent, also you should have some screws/bolts on your bottom yoke you can adjust also
If it is bent then remove the air tubes so you can get better access with a bar (like a socket extension bar). Rest one end against the bent stop and tap the other with a hammer. It will have to be a heavy hammer but aim to tap it lots of times to straighten it rather than a couple of heavy slugs.
Guess who's had to do this one too... ;)
Twinfan, have you had any news about your brembos yet?
