For road use , does changing to the steeper head angle make any difference ? ( quicker steering , i hope , but is that a good thing for every day , or not?)
And if it is worth doing , is it easy to do, or best left to the pros?
Thanks
not worth doing in my opinion.
if you look on any race ducati's you wont see it done. ok because they have a longer swing arm.
if you want quicker steering best off raising the ride height

No real harm in doing it, you may not notice too much difference on the road though (unless you're a road speed freak!!!;) ) and you will lose the steering lock.
What are you trying to gain by doing it? If its for quicker steering, you could try jacking the back up a touch - it does create a similar effect on the steering and can be easily tweaked (more variance) or put back to original rather than moving the steering head.
