View Full Version : Brands results ????

Truly gutted not to make it to Brands with all the other BHC'ers - A combination of personal events, weddings and stuff this year have stopped me getting out as much as I wanted, and a new role at work means that I'm working all hours. Me and Mrs Jools only get to spend any quality time together on her weekend off (she works every other weekend) and the Brands round of DD clashed with that.

But I really want to see the results and get the news.

Piecing everything together from riders reports I can see that TP had an off and picked up an injury - not serious I hope, does anyone have a report on how he's doing. I also know that Ali's engine went bang....

Any chance of an overall summary from one of the spectators or can anyone post a results sheet?

Try here (http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=24058) Jools :)

TP broke his ankle and bruised lots of other bits highsiding at Clearways in free practice.

Geoff sealed the championship, never having so far finished lower than second, and he never even looks as though he's trying

Lots of spectators, DucatiUK brought their truck, the sun failed to shine but a good time was had by all (except probably TP and Ali :( )

Jools, it was another great meeting.
Despite my Superman style dive into the hay bales, I enjoyed the day immensely... there was a mega battle, race long, between 8(?) of us in race 1, with rattler getting the better of it at the flag for 5th while i ended up 10th but only about 2 seconds back from Tim - it was a bun-fight!

what about the result of at least 50 Ducati's parked up next to the DUK truck? As with each other meeting we have had the most support there by a long way.

you seemed to have yourself a good spot.

Also, coffee, orange juice, biscuits, chocolate croissants, and a Bushell Paella for lunch, which I missed out on, - was down in the paddock.

That's my new friend Kyle Hinton (Hawk) explaining how to make buns for the fight

Kyle is racing the bike at Cadwell. I'm sure he'll show me up :P
