Hi all..
Anyone ever stored their bike in a Vac-bag? I'm about to buy one, and wondering just how they work. Are they laid on the ground whilst you ride onto/into them, so-to-speak? Do they then zip up?
Also, is there a problem using the sidestand? Will it eventually puncture the polythene?

Hi Steve, yep my baby is safely wrapped up in her's. Its lasted three winters but will need replacing for next year.
I put two thin wood sheets on the floor inside the bag before lifting both ends up on paddock stands. Some else on here commented it would be easy to make your own - its simply a big plastic bag with a large bag of silica crystals to put inside under the bike. The simple one I have only gets tied at one end with a big zip-tie after removing most of the air with a hoover!

WVT..if you call stu at spareshack, hes got some of the proper ducati performance ones to clear (cheap) at the moment..they are the american but that should be an issue as you can just use an adaptor.
