Nice Spot Neil, my original 620 engine and my original 583 engine came from his brother Scott. Come to think of it my 800 S2R and my 1100 Monster came from Jim

Pretty sure that wouldn't handicap Tom Halifax much, considering how fast he laps on a 53bhp 5-speed

Nowt wrong with 5 speeds, its one less down change. :p

I don't use top anyway,,,,,,,,, much,,,,,, I often change up by accident, can't count you see.

i was told some time ago by a chap in the paddock who seems to know everything that each gear change costs you about .1 of a second if you use 6th twice each lap that's 4 changes each lap which is about......... 2 seconds! I've tried this and think he's probably right.
