would anyone like to reccomend an easy to fit, cool looking, tank protector suitable for my ST. I need my third one in twelve months. First one I made a mess of fitting so it had to be changed, bought the most expensive clear one at my local bike shop and it looks crap.

Done of them fit very well. Maybe try a tank cover instead ?

I like the Motrax carbon protectors. Can't remember how much they cose, but under £20 anyway. They are a carbon weave, not coated. I had one on ST4S, and wife has one on her Monster at the moment. It has got a bit tatty around one of the edges, but then it has been used for about 18 months. I would get another of the same.

I have an ART carbon fibre tank shield. Rather wider than an ordinary tank protector, it covers the whole rear of the tank from the filler cap to the top of the seat, fits well and the quality is good. I'd recommend it.
