Just wondered if it would fit the newer swingarm (specifically a 2004 749R)?

Do you know anyone who can do the work with titanium?

I'm very worried about burning the carbon fairings!

Had my mind set on a full 57mm, but the prices of full titanium system take the ****.

Has anyone on here had a system for the older style swing arm modded to fit the newer swing arm?

Any experiences?

Yes me you have to move the exhast pipe 10mm so the swinger doesnt crack it on rebound, put some heat resistant tape on the fairing so it doesnt burn thats about it (mines 54mm) ;)

Good job, cheers McCoy!

Is yours a titanium system too? Who did the work for you?

I don't mind sending the pipes up to them, but taking the bike as well would be a pain.

You would need to take the bike to Zorstec, they have only ever done mine so would need to offer it up to your bike.

Im sure its not to big a job for a good fabricator in your area ;)

Yeah, might take the chance. Though it might be a job finding someone to work with titannium round these parts.

Thanks for the advice though...:D

I thought the pipe work was s/steel, with a t/i can? A full t/i system would be a lot more money.....................

Yeah, me too. Sent him a question, and he said it was definitely all titanium? :puzzled:

But I've been doing some Googling with the part number he lists, and what little info that is available suggests its a titanium can with stainless pipes? Might ask him again...

Could you get t/i tubing to alter it?

Should be able to, though it would be far easier if it was stainless, in terms of having it modded.

Sent him another message asking him to confirm if it is all Ti....wait to see what he says.

Anywhere else I can get a full system at a reasonable price?

He got back to me...after checking the pipes, it appears they are stainless!
