The fuel hose currently fitted (left in picture) is too big, outside diameter, jammed between frame and belt cover.
Local hydraulic/fuel hose supplier recommends hose(right in picture). My thinking was that fuel injection hose has a "weave" in the rubber, the one recommended is plain rubber with a cotton type overbraid, more like carb hose to my eyes.Any advice appreciated :puzzled:

I think mine are like the one on the right.

I'll check tonight.

Can't you re - route it so it doesn't get trapped?

The problem is where the hoses pass between the frame and the cambelt cover. It was a pain to remove the tank as there was no movement in the hoses, would be impossible to remove the cambelt covers.
Hoses are not original, appear to be a bit too heavy duty. The recommended hose would be a perfect fit,but Im not convinced its "injection hose",last thing I need is a mobile barbeque!.

I also thought that injection hose always had the braid inside the rubber. Have you tried a car accessory place? They usually have lots of different sizes.
