It's not original fitment eric. Don't have it on mine.

No, because the air tubes flow air in above the filter. The filter catches the bugs, birds and small children.

Are you talking about the 3 piece shroud assembly that has no place for a filter to fit. My answer is K&N. Standard tube type with 62mm hole. Then make up a set of collets (outside dia 61-62mm) for each Velocity stack out of nylon. Remember top make sure they are tapered. Problemo solved.

Neil, I'm getting the tank connectors machined up if they are any good you interested? Cost is not going to be cheap. I searched to country to no avail.

i'm not sure the corsa carbon air tubes will fit a road bike, the yoke offset and width don't leave enough room.:sing:

No mesh as standard, but I added some gold mesh to to mine just for aesthetical reasons as I think it just finishes it off nicely

If you zoom in on the attached pic you can just about see what it looks like..

loony, I've trial fitted them to the bike and they fit up a treat, this is with Harris yokes though (wider) + larger diameter Ohlins road and track forks.
No problem lock to lock.

jgriff, if you could u2u me with some costs for these - are you talking about a reducer that would allow fitup of the smaller diameter inserts or are these going to be replicas of the original parts ??

cheers

Yep well the one I have is pretty much like that but in 3 pieces, with the rear section being oil seperator box with a line from the crank case breather going to it. Some tricky use of silastic will be needed. And I need spacers which are being made up, between the throttle body and bottom of air box. Nothing is ever easy when straying from the norm. It has been suggested that the air pressure sensor be relocated to behind the nose cone, but I'm not to sure about that. I would assume that local air pressure is more relavent than ambient air pressure.

I've got a one piece Corse 94' carbon airbox and also the 3 piece carbon Corse used up to 93'.
The carbon 1 piece air tubes (X piece) are also Corse 94'.
I'll be selling the 3 piece carbon airbox as I've settled with using the 1 piece unit + frame mod.
The 3 piece box was used from 91' to 93' so would suit any 851 / 888 or 926 and has the benefit of the frame fail not needing to be modified.
I'm trying to resize my pictures and when I manage I'll post pics.
cheers
