Hi Guys
I'm looking for the best methods for cleaning break calipers I know I've seen it somewhere on the board but can't find it now, do you know?

i honestly didn't find anything that's great at doing this task, and i tried lots of things. it depends how embedded the dirt is i guess.
Brake cleaner was decent... but you don't get it all off... WD-40 was pretty good... again, not 100%..
i'm going to try Autoglym in the next few days and see how i get on... will post up the answers.

I have actually had a lot of sucess using Manista hand cleaner and an old tooth brush to work it in. Give them a quick spray of brake cleaner 1st on the stubborn areas.
Also Autoglym alloy wheel cleaner really does shift brake dust deposits off my wire wheels
Alloy wheel cleaner works, but make sure you soak them before and after as it's pretty evil stuff, quick once over don't leave it on for long

I was told to use only water and washing up liquid, as brake cleaner, WD40, etc... are not very kind with pot seals...
