I have bought a ‘pair’ of forks on fleabay. Cutting a long story short, they have different spring rates and the black plastic spring tube is 14.7mm on one and 13.something mm on the other !!!

New springs have been acquired, but what is the correct length of black plastic tube for 40USD non-adjustable 1996 madzzoggie forks in a SS?? Help would be appreciated!

1 month to go.....

The answer to the question is 148mm or 14.8cm as your figurs look a bit confusing

Skidlids,

Thanks for the measurements (and correction too - apologies).

I have some pipe (white plumbing stuff) that has the same OD and ID at the black pipe, so I’ll be sawing that up this weekend – unless the tube has to be made from something else…? (not lead Mr Domski)
