Hi everyone, should be racing with you this year (be nice :D )

Quick technical question, before I fabricate the bracket below from ally, is my template exactly what is required to bolt down front of tank ? I've done it this way so I can still lift tank after undoing 1 bolt

Booking ACU test for 2nd march, all being well looking forward to meeting you all,

Mykal

once you know what your numbers will be u can get from ebay or similar or make some any simple font
class b black number yellow background/ class a black on white
acu says;

3. Each machine must display two side number plates. The numbers must be clearly visible to the
public and marshals on both sides of the machine.
5. The figures must be clearly legible and like the background must be painted in matt colours as
described below to avoid refl ection in sunlight.
6. The minimum dimensions of front numbers are:
Background 285mm by 235mm
Height of figure 140mm
Width of figure 80mm
Width of stroke 25mm
Space between two figures 15mm

7. The minimum dimensions of side numbers are:
Background 260mm by 220mm
Height of figure 120mm
Width of figure 70mm
Width of stroke 25mm
Space between 2 figures 15mm
8. A space of at least 5cm must be left free around all number plates in which no advertising may
appear.

eBay or you can get them at tracks but you'll prob pay 5 times as much.
Get yourself some yellow spray, mask off a suitable area and apply sticky numbers when it's dry. (buying ready made numbers on backgrounds seems a good idea but they're a pain in the arse to put on curved surfaces)
Bit of petrol resistant lacquer over the top and bingo, happy scrutes!
