Almost all of those racing will be at Cadwell by the late Sat afternoon it seems (sorry, if you are not tho:( )

So, with that in mind - and a little windfall that I seem to have come by (cheers Chi! ) hows about afternoon tea in our 'patch' of the paddock on the Sat afternoon? Chi suggested I put some of my 'prize' to good 'social use' :D

Pop along from 4.30 till 6pm - bring your tea mug/glass etc, nibbles (tho not your flipping dinner!) provided.

Good chance for old & new faces to meet up.

C

(for those who dont know us, we have a dingy white Fiat Ducato van, with a large gazebo next to it for this season which will be housing 3 bikes)

What a nice idea - we can arrange Bones' initiation at the same time... I'll bring the brillo pads

Murray, lots of us tend to stay on site, tho Lord R and a few others do saunter off to local B&B's.

Not once last season (despite best attempts) did we all get to park together at any meeting. Best we did was prob Donnington, when split into only 3 'camps'.

My guess that this time will see the Thurs/early Fri arrivals parking on the tarmac terraces, and the later ones on Sat parking on the grass off the gravel tracks further back, as it is a 2 day meeting.

We can all stand around and watch Scooter fight with his new (ex-domski) marquee...

...should be good for a laugh.

Hope to be arriving around 6pm so may just catch the tailend of your bash Charlotte, but will hopefully have a van loaded full of oil packs that I will need to disperse amongst the DD entrants for which I will probably need some help.

Hows about the '2nd' tier up on the RH side.
The next row up from the scrut bay?

Shouldnt be too full there Thurs nite - thats where we are going to aim for, arriving after 11pm (after work)

Still 'sheltered' - but not going to have queues of bikes in front of us early sat am...............

Sure Dominic - when you coming ? You have to remember it's not only a DD/DSC paddock. Fundamentally we are only a small part of the New Era race club. First come first served so to speak :)

Tried the 'tenty type thingy' yesterday - just kept telling AK 'told you so' - as by getting it 'cheap' we found a few probs with it, in that the sides were about 10mm off the floor when the roof legs were on the lowest setting (so the likes of Ali wouldnt get in it!!! ) - or if we extended the legs - there were large gaps at the bottom! (can advise you which company NOT to buy from)

So - just called them, and got a refund.

New one coming tomorrow - so look out for a white & orange one!!! - next to the van.

Got the cakes & crispy things all sorted - just bring your mugs for a cuppa - or your own 'hard stuff' to drink.
