The challenges with Cadwell and the grids are a good reminder of the need to keep DD in house, so we can manage our own race series.
While we have some things to iron out, riders reps etc. This is another example of the hard work being put in behind the scenes by the good folks.
We should all think twice before having a go at them when a 'little' thing doesn't go our way.
Cheers to all involved in getting it sorted!

Forgot to Mention
Thanks to the RC for improving the grid situation for the upcoming Cadwell round of the Desmo Due series, I bet that wasn't easy and took up quite a few hours of your freely given time, so thanks again I along with many others appreciate it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Chris, things are finaly looking up, Ive even been getting some very welcome personal emails from others who appreciate our efforts !!!.
I think people are begining to realise that for each block email we send out to the riders there are all the responses to deal with, collate and then look to how the issues raised can be resolved. It is a lot of work but when it comes together is worthwhile.
Hopefully we've turned the corner and can start to take a more positive approach to DD and all the other great opportunities DSC can offer its members.

Henners i dont know you ..did not see you about the DD paddock in 2005,have not heard of any input you have had with the successfull DD series we are currently enjoying..!!
Yet you seem to have ideas on the DD and are committed to it.?? ..can you please explain to me what they are...as currently i am quite happy with the DD as it stands.? and the posts you seem to be making are dragging the DD into disripute................
I may be wrong but thats the impression you are giving me.?
Phil
yep

but what was it that went wrong??
if it is unpostable please u2u me
i know i have no right to know, but being a dd fan it's nice to keep up with things

Glyn mainly we haven't come up with the total entries we said we would to ensure we had our own seperate grids.
Original plan was to take the 19 top quallifiers from each class and put them in a race together, Non quallifiers end up in some race that means nowt.
Solution arrived at is to have Class A running alongside the Honda Hornets and Class B running along side the CB500s including WJB
interesting
thanks for the heads up
and i can see why plan A was not liked
especialy for the poor sod that qualified 20th every time
i supose that if we wern't a club with a r/c you'd just have to bite the bullet and take it
so well done r/c
