Rattler's Brands
Landed Saturday, unpacked bike, unloaded kit, garage 7, weather dry, mood pensive. Hotel trip, drank beer, ate food, drank beer, slept well.

Up Sunday, 7am, cloudy skies, rain due, dry now, hit circuit, rain starts, oh siht, get ready, drink tea, need scrute, raining now, oh bugga, by chance, next garage, lady scrute!!, get checked, go nowhere, all OK, bone dry, nice one!!!!

Sign on, fit flippers, drink tea, get nervous.

Qualifying preparation, sort bike, adjust suspension, check pressures, drink tea. Oily track, paddock hill, pi55ing rain, arrghhhhhhhh!!! Short delay.

Tiptoe out, steady start, gaining pace, 3 laps, up pace, no grip, big slide, settle down, build up, push on, chequered flag, arghhhh..., no time, crap qualifying, fear worst, 8th place, 1.11 time, oh damn.

Race one, second row, poor start, avoid exocet, (David Pratt), triple salko, (with tuck), offline approach, 11th spot, push on, overtake, undertake, hang on, hang off, hang out. Bash fairings, get brave, get scared, wind on, move up, settle down, pass some, run deep, run wide, run run, battle Glenn, great battle, last lap, make move, attack Clearways, power on, big slide, sod it, push on, pull level, line drive, photo finish, same time, exact same, get 6th. check photo, tyre width, Glenn 5th, me 6th, last lap, fastest lap, all weekend, 1.02, not enough, cheers Glenn.

Race two, even wetter, standing water, better start, paddock 5th, druids mugging, back down, oh fudge, push on, many battles, Pete Yates, Glenn again, Nick Boustead, and others, slip slide, get going, stay up, lose front, get back, get going, get on, get off, short shift, too fast, too slow, too much..... cross line 6th again, great fun, beat Nick, always nice! ;)

Overall - 2 sixths, fastest lap, stayed up, quite happy, hate rain, normally crap, getting better, made most.

Awesome Phil, thanks Glenn, thanks Nick, congrats Andy, congrats Dom, congrats Antony, respect Psychlist. Podium boys = top job, all racers - heroes all.

Great company, great support, thanks Karen, thanks Kelly, thanks Sis, thanks Dad, thanks Phil, thanks Dibble.

Went home, dried out.

Tim ;)

Tim,

Excellent race report - dig your style.
Sounds like you did really well considering your loathing of the wet stuff. Nice one.
