Erm, I don't really know how to say this, but to avoid the major ****ging that must inevitably come my way for digging for sympathy please see the attachment!

Turns out the (very expensive) consultant I saw last week may not have been 100% correct. Close examination of all xrays by a shoulder specialist confirms that, while not perfect, my collarbone is certainly healing.... :o Yeah, I'm as confused as you! Still lots of pain but that's not uncommon and probably the result of a cyst. The consultants parting words were "I should get back on your motorbike now if I were you", so I will do!:D

In the last seven days I have received an enormous amount of sympathy/goodwill from everyone here and my family. I'm sorry if it's been a false alarm, and I'm gutted that I didn't race on Sunday, but thanks for all the good wishes. I hope I can pay you all back by staying sunny side up for the rest of the season....

Cheers,

Ali

Sing along now: "We're on our way to Assen, we're on our way to Assen, la la la la, hey! la la la la, hey! We're on our way to Assen, we're on our way to Assen, la la la la, hey! la la la la, hey!"

i think its bollox.

if you say you cant race for the season they imho you shouldnt race for the season. none of this fannying about; no im not, yes i am, rubbish.

im getting fed up of people saying they wont be at meetings, raising my hopes of me moving up a place or two then deciding to join in again.

Fantastic news Ali.

By the way, can you tell me your mother's maiden name and credit card number? ;)

And what's all this "does not have private health insurance" malarky?!

Declined Analgesia :o:o:o:o:o:o Are you mad? Those drugs are fantastic - and you could have saved them for your next crash :devil::devil:

I'm sorry, I'll get my coat, and see you at Assen :sing:

Brilliant news and I'd like my sympathy (such as it was) back too, please. Actually, pass it to Saara because she deserves it if you're now racing again :devil:
