Very last minute, but would someone like to come to Assen with me this weekend? I find myself without help and I just can't do the trip AND racing on my own.

Everything is paid for, the only cost will be any 'extras' you might want to sample from the Dutch way of life!

Would best suit unemployed person cos sailing times are:
Leave Dover - 1000 Friday
Leave Dunkerque - 2330 Sunday

Please get in touch TODAY if you want to come, but definate answer required please, not a maybe.

u2u your number and I'll call you,
answer here,
phone/text me on 07967 996658

If the only reason you might not go is the fact that you don't have a helper then I'm sure you'll be fine. There's plenty of people around who'd help out.

Don't let that stop you from going.

Funny enough... I thought he was meaning "no you won't see me there, I'll be far away in front of you"

Come on guys, nobody fancies a free trip to Assen? :puzzled:

I'd like to think so tony, but there wasn't at Cadwell, or brands.
And can I assume someone will drive my car and kit home if I end up 'doing a perrin'?

Think it's a bad idea to go alone.

If you 'do a Perrin' Perrin will drive your car back!

There you go, and I'm sure you can hide in the Team Butcher tent. Or we'll at least let you skulk around behind the tent and fetch us tea :D

Were booked on the same ferry back so if it came to it I could drive your car etc back to the uk. If I'm ok that is.

Besides, I've got money coming out of my ears, more than I know what to do with! So if you crash, I'll have you and all your gear repatriated to your closest helipad to home.

Result!

I'm sure no-one will leave anyone stranded Nick. There's enough going to ensure and extra driver if required. And as for help, you only gotta ask :)

Good luck NBs. having competed in MRO last year mostly on my own travelling the entire length of the uk from knockhill down to Pembrey I know exactly what position you are in. It's tough - if it weren't so late in the day I'd come and help you but, this weekend I am doing dyno and engine work on my 800ss racer which had to be pre-booked.

FFS, stop encouraging the GTH. If he comes it'll be another person in front of you lot on the grid!

Thanks all, but I'm not chucking any toys here... just asking for a dedicated helper for the weekend.
Failing that, I'll take whatever scraps of assistance there might be!

Does anyone just want a lift??

Nick, just get on the ferry mate!

Andy is bringing his bruv Dave, so spare spanner hands, will save you a pitch next to us too.

Bones & I are co-pilots (for AK & Senna 3), so in the case of any probs, there are 2 drivers who have at least third party insurance to drive, both driven with trailers before too.

Have you tried asking Doug (riding Lins 16 bike) - he is booked to fly there, but might be able to switch (I dunno) but worth asking?????

C:)

Nick..andy and i are in convoy..and getting the same ferry as you back.!..if the unsaid happens im sure either of us can pitch in to get you back m8........

U know the paddock there are loads of hands to help with what ever happens..................

If we all pitch in the same area..i cant see lack of help ever being an issue..................

Trouble is that the baby's nearly cooked, and it wouldn't be right to be out of the country - now if he's born before Friday - I might get a weekend pass!!!! :)
