with my 6th place and feeling on top of the world on monday i asked my local news paper if i could put a story in the paper so i can thank my sponsers and they said yes. so a reporter came around and we talked for half an hour and this is what he wrote in the spenborough guardian
(thanks to dom for also putting it on his web site)

Not THE Spenborough Guardian :o
Well done Dom. It's a good report, and a great result.
If you continue to improve like that you'll be kicking Phil's ass before too long ;)

No no no, you're a racer now so dismiss them as talentless, it's only their bikes that make them quicker ;) ;) ;)

So true I am talentless and to old to be pushing to hard, I should be a push-over for all these talented youngsters and with a few of them off to practice at Oulton before the next round, I expect them to out qualifying and out race me as I struggle to find braking points, Apexs the right gearing to suit the track.
Anybody got a gearing chart for Oulton
Like the press cliping, one for your scrapbook
July 8th, oulton Park, BRING IT ON
