guys it sounds as if Tim's bike is having a similar problem as mine did,

I can't get the harness posted up to nelly's this afternoon as the local post office I can get to from work is closed Wednesday afternoons so the earliest I can send it is tomorrow. But somehow I don't think its the problem

We've swapped out the whole ecu, clocks and key system with the same error code being displayed on the new dash. The wiring is the only thing left.
My heads awash with key switching, flashing LED's and lots of swearing but it's a little different to the problem you had .............. i think.
