I've found myself short one jubliee clip to fit a 600ss oil filter. Been making phone calls this morning, but at this stage no shop I can find seems to have one that will fit.

Will anyone at Oulton this weekend have one that I can buy/borrow/use? It'd be a big help.

Thanks!

Try a small independent car garage/service shop, if they are anything like Senna3's they will have a selection

Good old Halford do em in all sorts of sizes but this guy is great for stainless - very fast too:

But what's it need for Phill?

ps- yes - K+N filters have a 14mm bolt manufactured into the base.

too expensive... I think a clip is much more convenient when a standard oil filter is worth 2£...

Depends where you buy them from. I got 3 for £18 delivered which is not as cheap as using a 2CV oil filter (or whatever it is that fits!) but at least you're using a quality product and don't have to pay the extra for a jubilee clip and arse around fitting it!

.

Bit pricey on his hose clips
I just paid £3.60 for 3 stainless Norma ones this afternoon at the same time as picking up a couple of meters of -3 brake hose, 12 olives and 12 Panex Dzus fateners for fixing the seat and fairing on the new DD bike as I make an atttempt to turn next years Class A championship into a budget series.

Was going to suggest that yesterday then I remembered the clearance problems I had when I tried it on the 916

That and the fact that the shorter ones I have are tiny and I'd need to put about half a dozen of them together to reach the required size.
