Anyone wanna join me ?
After a really good year albeit up and down I'm doing what I had planned on doing last winter and retiring from my 4 years club racing. I'd like to say i've enjoyed it but I haven't really as I just haven't been good enough to get the results I wanted. I have however really enjoyed the social side. i'll still be there supporting grib and enjoying the social side.
So thanks for the DD memories and see you all next year :)

Can you watch a race whilst supping beer ?
Does your memory fade so much you can stand there saying how good you were and how much you would have won by ?
If so that's the entry criteria ;)

its a shame you wont be out there next year mate....but at least you will be in the paddock!
I'll be getting advice overload with Couch and my Dad watching my every move/c*ck-up
I'll join your club couchie.
I'll not be on the grid next year, I guess for the same reasons as you... Although i've had a better string of results this year i've not had anywhere near as much fun as last year and not improved my racing. So that's that, said the mayor! I certainly want to be on track with dd at assen in 07 - if not too many regulars object, but we'll see how that pans out.
Will definately be hanging around the dd paddock though, this time with a beer in my hand and talking about all the trophies I won (all two of them) when I were a club racer!
On NO !
Couchy as a full-time paddock advisor
How would we ever know which bit was helpful and which was a wind-up

I won't stop racing until I get at least one trophy. I need to be able to go back to France showing off to my mates "guys, I've kicked all those rostbeefs' ass during all those years, look what I bring back..."

seriously though, I hope anyone who is giving it up has enjoyed it, and thanks for the entertainment :)
I'm sure you'll change your mind at least five times this winter, buy another 3 DD bikes, sell two, strip one down, rebuild it, sell it, and finally buy the fastest one available at the time and turn up at Cadwell!! I look forward to seeing you out there again shortly.

I was going to retire at the end of this year but having put my first overtaking move on the big Domski I am coming back. :D
I recon you'll be out there, you can't ride like you do unless you know the other riders are trying. You don't want to become a track day worrier like Griff was do you?
Thanks for the tips on the, neck of goose and Charlie's 1.
