Please can someone tell me what the standard number of teeth there are on a 1999 748 bp (front and rear)

Got myself a TSS rear carier with a 38 and a 40, both from Scatman at http://www.ducati-shed.com/

The front is a 14 tooth on all 748 models, along with a 520 chain at 94 links in length.

I believe you don't need to add any links upto 41 on the rear, but if someone can confirm that would be great!

You need to add two links. Here's a guide:

Sprocket separation values above are essentially changes to wheelbase caused by the change in sprocket diameters.

Remember to take a ride height reading first and then reset it after changing your sprockets and/or chain.

When increasing the rear sprocket size I always recommend trying to add links and run the rear wheel as far rearwards as you can.
