Moved the bike yesterday and although the alarm was on it did'nt set the alarm of. Today whislt still cleaning it from Sundays ride out I notice above the lower coolant tank a flat box lying loose but connected to the wiring harness. As soon as I lifted it "all hell broke loose" and I nearly went deaf with the alarm screaming in my ear. The Alarm fitted is a Spyball Patriot
Question. Should this box be fixed to some thing and what position should it be in i.e. Flat, horizontal, upright, vertical any one have any idea's . Thanks 4D

The position/attitude won't matter too much Fordie, but it does need fastening down.
The usual place for Spyballs is the tubing that runs across the frame, between the throttle bodies just above the coolant overflow catch tank.
Tie it up with a couple of cable ties.
