front wheel

can anyone tell me if the front wheel off 916/748 et/all fit in the forks of a 888 or SL,
Is the spindle or spacing different.

It won't fit unless you replace the bearings to accomm the smaller axle.

as there seems to be chance will the standard discs from the 888 fit or will i have to replace with 916 stuff.

std discs off 916//88 are the same I believe..if you need a new front wheel ive got a couple of new ones in boxes here..!!

Out of interest, does anyone know what size the 748/916 spindle is?

25mm I believe.
