Can anyone tell me (exacly, as mm's count here) the height of the 750ss seat from the ground?

Is it the same as an 02 onwards 620/750/800 monster? - or is it the same as the M900ie/1000 (I have a cut down seat on the 1000) or more???

Reason being - I'm taking my bike to get serviced very early tomorrow am, and all dealer can off me is a multistrada (joke - cos cant touch the ground without bike on sidestand & then right foot dangling 9 inches or more off floor), or the 750ss.

Otherwise will have to catch train back, which means lugging work suit & heels too, on the trip.

Quick response appreciated chaps.

My tech manual for a 1993 750 and 900ss shows the height as being 780mm.

Any more modern spec sheets should be on ducati.com tech pages.

Good luck

CK - The links are here:

http://www.ducati.com/bikes/manuals.jhtml

The last general SS models are shown as 2002 - before going to the 800ss I assume...

WOW! - For 2000 model 750ss its 812mm and for 2002 model its the same.

I just can't believe some honest and outstanding Gentleman on here has not offered to measure your inside leg for you :D

Thanks peeps, looks like I'll have to get the train:( - as the M1000sie has a standard height of 800, and I have a cut down seat (by 15mm), so as I can touch the floor.:(

Just to let you know - I caught the train back :( - bike was just too tall (suddenly only had the multistrada mountain), but looked a right dipstick going into the office in leathers, rather than suit & heels (good jokes from the lads tho:saint: ).
Catching the train back tomorrow to collect late afternoon - hope its a bit more dry then.

Thanks for all your help (spesh KB for runing out to measure bike!)
