well its getting closer by the day,
Weather doesn't look to promising for those doing the Thursday practice but the weekend looks a bit more promising.

Class A is a bit thin on the ground so I'm hoping for a top 10 finish, Haven't done anything engine performance wise since last year so its not going to be any faster and gearing choice on the GP circuit will be guess work and limited by only having 2 rear sprockets (must get a 47T)

Not heard back about the ramps I'm having made at the moment but hopefully they will be ready on time so we can then look at passing some of the time by seeing what each others bikes weigh.
may have to bring a long a prize for the lightest but legal in each class and a booby prize for the poor rider heaving a millstone around the track (probably be someone with a full tank of fuel)

Hope you all have a brilliant meeting. I won't be at Donington... in fact its highly unlikely I will be at any New Era mtgs, but I hope you all have a brilliant season and I hope to see you around the circuits at some point this year.

Terri :)

Well hacked off I'll not be amongst the Redgate rowdies to see the racing.

No last minute pr season mind games? An innocent "I've never raced before, is a 1.49 on the full GP circuit on the pace on a class B bike at Donnington or should I get some more pointers on racing lines"

Don't forget you're racing on a motoGP and wsbk circuit, the kickball equivalent of taking to the Wembly turf, Win lose or draw just make sure you enjoy it.

Probably not far off it Ray, I thought around 1m 46s for a Class A bike in good conditions but only guestimating
So Glad class A isn't sharing a grid with Pro-Bike as I know Joe Symmons From NG race club does 1m 33s aroumd there on his R1

So whats the score with cancelled entries??? Do you just have to Phone N/e.
Looking pretty sad at the moment, But Business has to come first.

Think you need to return your entry card, tickets etc
But best to phone them first and check

Not had much practice and we dont get much at the meet :(

I'm sure I'll be nervous when donning my crisp new orange vest.
Tentertively looking forward to the whole experience.

What is the link to skinny guys and DD #34.

Is it only strong enough to hold up 55kgs of racer?

Does the minimum weight include the rider?

No need to appoligise Glyn, the idea behind DD was Sunday racing so as not to disrupt those in the motorcycle trade that have business's to run on Saturdays
Trouble is circuits like Castle Combe, Oulton and Thruxton run more Noisey race days on Saturdays than they do Sundays and where two day meets are concerned the club racing likes to run the same timetable both days.
I can't see things changing with the circuits and neither do I see it changing with the Clubs (no matter what some people may think) which means the only option is for DD to adapt and this will effect some of those taking part.

Have fun changing those frames
