Bike to bike intercoms

Hello all,

I'm after a bit of helpful advice please.....

Can anyone recommend a good bike to bike intercom system? I'm considering the Oxford Bike2Bike system, but I don't know how it works or how good it is. Has anyone used one? It would be interesting to hear from you regarding quality, especially at speed. Also, I don't want to have to play around with the electrics on the bike so I want one that is battery powered.

I can't seem to find any reviews about it anywhere, so I thought I'd put a post up and ask you knowledgable folks.

Only one word to say - Autocom. The best bike-to-bike radios there are. Not cheap, but work brilliantly. Thorouhly recommended.

hi mate i sell lots of oxford intercoms in my shop,good qaulity,reasonable money never used 1 myself but customers always happy

As twinfan says; Autocom.

I run a Kenwood Funkey PMR unit in combination with an Autocom Pro-M1 control. I also use a handlebar mounted three-position switch. This gives you 'permanent transmit', 'push-to-talk or 'VOX' operation for the PMR.

I have had no problems - the Autocom control unit also accepts a mobile phone, passenger intercom and a CD/Radio as well, so pretty flexible really.

Only down side is the cost. :yawn:

i have an Alan system - two PMR handsets, in-helmet mics / headsets, handlebar mount PTTs.

Never use it any more (obviously I've got no friends)
