All entered and paid (online) but as I haven't sent forms in, going to hand in on Friday, not sure if I will get anything thru the post or not.
Think Phil had his arrive today as well. Any ideas what garages we are in??? Want to make sure we park in the right area Fri

An online confirmation and reciept for the friday practice has arrived and although I paid the £109 price its for the reduced £99, nice one.
Did anyone else think the extra upfront charge to get reduced practice day price was a bit rich?

Just be careful where you park as its unlikely you will be able to move your van come the end of Friday Practice

So what do you suggest, don't know the layout, is there parking by the garages ?

There is if you can get a space and have agarage booked other than that its lower paddock

as we aren't getting there until Fri morning I'm hoping we can get close to out garage. Need the trailer & kit there but we all know what the Hottrax paddock is like and how much room they take up!!
I'll give them a ring tomorrow and find out if its 2 or not

I have garage 3 on my form and others are in Garage 2, from memory Garage 1 is usually the smarter one on the end so I'm fairly certain garages 2 and 3 are the same just with the level change between them
I hope to be there Thursday late afternoon with Van backed up to the Garage

I am hoping to be reversing up to garage 2 Thursday eveening!
Are 2 and 3 down at the race admin end of the garages? I seem to remember the parking is worse at that end.
Cheers

at least its by the loos and the cafe...

What time will we be able to get into the pit area on Thursday? I have the day off, so was thinking of getting there before the rush hour

Final Instructions say
Race teams and riders attending the test day on Friday 9th March will be allowed access to the working paddock after 18.00 on Thursday
9th March.
So we usually end up parking up either just outside the gate or if allowed into the circuit but not the paddock we park up just along from the Kentagon Restaurant and wait until we are allowed access
Sounds like a good plan :)
As of tonight Tuesday still no paperwork through for me. But I've paid and its accepted, so I'm going in. :ninja:

Just find out if anyone is parked behind it who has not got a bike booked in for it then tell them to shift it, its been a problem in the past with people parking behind allocated garages who dont have a place reserved for that garage.

waiting on mine too but only paid on Friday.
I'm in garage 4, but will be going home after each day while I only live 20 mins away and don't have a van. Need to make sure I'm close enough to the garages without getting blocked in!

I share the concern Mark - not the best start to a wekend to have a row
how many to a garage then - 4?

After having double checked with Martin the Clubs membership secretary, there are 4 people so far registered for DD that no longer seem to be members of the DSC and 3 of them are down as having garages. Two have which are also down on my tyre list so I had better scrub them off as the Discounted tyres are for DD registered DSC Members
Not mentioning any names but guys you have been warned Please check your paperwork/Membership Status, if you don't have a roundel next to your board name it may well be you

I'm on that list I think, so need to do it as I forgot, but really if I turned up and wasn't would someone try and stop me?!
wouldn't a pm just have helped tho, given we all have busy lives and part of the organising is reminding, especially when its such a small group to start with
skidlids
07-Mar-2012, 22:41
Well I've sent emails and posted requests for Registration forms and the Webteam has even added a reminder as a header and still there was little response to that request, so much so that Trudi has been phoning around and filling in the forms herself while on the phone so will be collecting signatures at signing on. Basically extra work that we could do without
I don't have access to the Data base so hard for me to check on renewal dates
It is included in the rules so when you read those you would have been reminded as well as Martin sending out a reminder a couple of weeks prior to a persons membership renewal date
My records only go back to the start of last year so
aren't complete as not all memberships start at the begining of the year
And as for busy lives yes we all have them and my list of things to do this evening has hardly been touched apart from the DD organisational stuff, which includes printing out registration forms so they can be filled in at signing on by those we don't have a form for
so digging out my spares loading the van and going shopping will all have to be done in the morning
Also how do I PM those that don't have board names, I got the info through at 5 to 9 so had to check that against my latest spredsheet and see what Blanks I was left with. Once I have finished with this post I will log off and then log onto my DD desktop and email EVERYBODY in my DD address book with a reminder.

Well you need to be there in time to have your bike scruted and sign on, so anytime after 07.30 but before 8.30-9.00 would be good
