Hi Guys,

Anyone got any recommends on type and make of pad to use on the cast iron rotors on a Superlight. I am right in thinking that a sintered pad is a no-no on this type of rotor ???????

Cheers

Ian

Mike Davis at Robsom Racing and Nelly at Cornerspeed both seem to be fonts of Knowledge....

I bought some semi-racing Bendix pads from Mike and am very happy with them so far.

I cant remember the recommendation for Iron rotors - I vaguely recall using organic pads on the ones I had years ago but you would need to check it out with a professional (EBC as well maybe???)

Good luck

Yes, you should not use sintered pads on the cast iron rotors. Some i know do without much problems, but YMMV.

As for me, I use Performance Friction Carbon Metallic compound 95 - AWESOME stopping power with the cast irons.

Ian, the Bendix MF compounds have proved fine with iron rotors, despite being sintered. SBK3's eat them. I think also that EBC HH don't go too well with cast discs either.
The Bendix have proved to be a little hard to get stocks of but are coming through now. Give Mike or myself a ring if you need any :)
