Hi all, i'm new here so please be gentle:saint:

Born in the 60's, turned on to italian bikes by a guzzi lemon Mk2 and a Laverda Montjuic (sp?) the lad opposite used to fire up at 5.30am on his way to work.... got the bug... got me an AR50! A broken arm and a few other little offs didn't put me off tho' and a couple of DT125's, an RD350 F2 and a 680ss brings me to the here and now, a 900ssie.... lovely!

BUT.... had a go on an S4 monster yesterday! I've not had so much fun on a bike since I first pegged the power valve open on me DT125! It was 'kin ace! I could see things, my wrists and back didn't ache and i grinned like a fool!

Sooooo, help me please! Am I being unfaithful to the 900ss? We've had 5 lovely years together but perhaps it's time to move on? she'll understand, wont she?:puzzled:

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome Andy, its nice to see a few more names on the board from the Cheltenham and Glos area. (yes Philip your location has been noted)
I don't think Richard has arranged many rideouts this year for your area, but Gordy from Stroud often joins some of the other rideouts.

Pop along to Popham on Aug bank holiday if you can and introduce yourself, it will be made easier for you by a lot of the existing members wearing name tags.

Hi Andy

Southern comfort & coke please.

I know what you mean about the comfort and fun thing. I took a Multistrada out for a test ride and came back wondering why I put up with the sports bike riding position to go no faster (slower on bumpy roads) than I would on a comfy bike.

I've still got the SS though!!!!!!!

Hi guys and gal... thanks for all the warm greetings!
The more i think about it the more i think the s4 is the way forward for me:)
I've spoken to my ss and she's cool with it!
I've been offered a good trade in on my bike on a 52 plate s4 (but it's yellow!) - shall i hang on for a senna grey or go for it?... I've put the ss on autotrader to see if there is any interest?
Would it be bad form for me to post it up on your market place?

Big queue at the bar i'm afraid... sorry shouldn't be much longer!

cheers
