pass light button not working

Got an early 749bp, my pass light doesn't do anything? Any ideas

Where should I be checking?

Does the regular hi beam switch work? If not, probably the relay or fuse. If it does, then start with the switch gear. Check the internals and give them a clean and a spray of wd40.
After that, it's checking of the wiring.

Just thought it may be a blank button, which may not do anything..
