Hasn't happened once to me since we changed to a new server yesterday. It used to happen every 5 minutes. This new site has been bullet proof so far for me |

BM - Please continue to log any errors like this - it will be of use during the c/o to the new server. Seems odd you only the message on one forum? Can you please tell me if its one post in particular you are trying to view? Cheers - Frank |

Hurrah! I can now post replies and do everything else I used to be able to do before 2 weeks ago. :) Thanks for the advice by e-mail Eamonn. Seems as though ticking the 'remember me' box before logging in has done the trick! Cheers, Ian RedMist |

The problem that Ian had (and possibly others) is that AOL users have their connection to the internet changed automatically by AOL on a regular basis. This is done by AOL to reduce the possibility of hackers getting into the users system by the IP address - i.e. keep changing the address and it makes it more difficult to get in. The technique AOL use is called 'floating IP'. A consequence of this is that the message board 'looses' your connection on a regular basis - by ticking the 'remember me' box you tell the message board to retain a cookie on your machine that signifies to the message board your connection status. Then if AOL change your connection behind the scenes, it doesn't matter. |

curious problem on the main page i'm not signed in when i try to sign in i get this error message "In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist." But i am signed in when i go to the forums? not really worried about it just curious as why it's happening cheers nigel |
