i dont know specificaly but i would say about 57-58,
from what i observed

Jon....I'd agree with that. I had a go on Tonio's DD bike (1st time) & managed to keep you in my sights. My lap times on the DD bike were 57-58 secs (as I was desparate not to crash it so close to the Cadwell race, despite very nearly being taken out by the guy with 748 painted on his lid at paddock. He did say sorry though!).

I think he was circulating in around 1:15's

Bout an hour I thought, sure I saw him still finishing a lap when the novices went out...

I have no idea about the lap times. If somebody checked me out or somebody I was scraping with had their lap taken I would be curious to know (Ducati 916 with Joe Bar stickers - slow in the straight, fast in Surtees). I think that I may have broken the 55sec barrier just about.

From what I saw & know of my own lap times, I reckon you got under 55 secs

From the sequence of photo's on Picman's site, Philippe is just behind me at Clearways on one lap (same shot) and then the next lap he's a bit further behind...
If I was timed at 55.5 then that would put him in the same sort of time bracket...

Did you know that if you have a cd of pics, just right click and look at properties. You should see the time the pic was taken. You only have to look at pics that at the same spot. :)
