the iconic bikes don't need all that printed stuff all over it. Just the silohete of something great lurking beneath.

prolly not. you need a computer to do that and they were not invented way back then.....you could get a 1098 one and re sew it here and there to adjust the lines:lol:

thanks deej,

well, hopefully a Titanium Bucci Slipper clutch is on its way very shortly, so I can then fit that along with the Corse open clutch engine casing.

then I have the 225mm fully floating rear disc on the way too, then I can fit the MotoCorse rear hanger & Brembo 4 pot ti rear caliper.

Oh yeah, and the 749R tank breather valves/adaptors are now done, so I can fit the Corse fuel cap with that.

toying with the idea of a Xaus Sterilgarda 999RS paintjob for my spare bodywork, but with Jnr. on the way, not too sure on that one (will depend on a good sales commission month or 3 !)

the bikes due a trip to JHP too for some special mapping work at some stage too

pics to follow as and when

If it stops bleedin' raining I'll even go out on it !

Forget the 749R, go "Old Skool" :D

nope, you've got one of those 'old school - new school' half finished swing arms on yours ;)

Sharpy G 10-Sep-2008 08:42

needed some 'strange' 'M7' size bolts to fit the caliper to the MotoCorse bracket

ProBolt to the rescue with some rather tasty M7x20 Ti with drilled and dished out heads ! very nice indeed, may have to invest in the ones for the front calipers too

rcgbob44 10-Sep-2008 09:30

I bought some of the flanged TI bolts, like wot you got on your rear caliper, for my front calipers and they dont fot as the flange is to big.

I need to get them cut down.

I shall post some pictures to put that old nail of yours to shame!

A little more TI porn!

Same heads that Sharpy has used on his rear caliper but used on the front ones intead.

By the way, if you want to use these TI flnged bolts on your front calipers you will need to trim the flange very slightly to 16 mm dia & also trim down a 12 mm socket so that the O/D is 16 mm to match the flange on the bolt.
