Just check out with your company if they will pay out on both bikes if they are lost/damanged in the same incident such as theft or garage fire. I know people have had problems with this |
Watch out on classic policies ... .. I tried putting the 998 on my (Yamaha RD400) policy with Carole Nash only to find out because I had 'modified' it with Termis that they wouldn't cover it :( |
Neil, Mine are with Ducati Insurance (748s/750ss). I used to be with Motorcycle Direct, but as soon as I wanted to add the 748 the didn't want to know. Cheers Dave |
Just got renewal thru` from Catrol nash ans it went up by £120 this year. Managed to get it reduced to £457 fully comp for the Jota and 998s with Carol Nash by dropping there valuation of the Duke from £13k ? to £12K. |
ps I hear the Footman James are very good as well. |
I have a Kawasaki ER5 and added the ST2 to the policy with Ducati Insurance...........very reasonable. Ask to speak to Luke and say I sent you...... :) 08704 10 60 60 Sally-Ann |
I’m with Ducati Insurance for an M900 and 749S. Just had my renewal, £410 fully comp with a named rider - pretty good. I'd be happy to use them again but they’ve forgotten that the 749S was written off in an accident about four months ago. Perhaps their computer system needs a little update!!! |
Laxtons here....£396 comp for the 888 and S4R with points and a claim. Been with them for 3 years and consistently cheaper than anyone else and excellent service (they got a result on my 916 writeoff payout within 3 weeks !). Also small family run brokerage and they always remember you when you call. Also put my home insurance there too. Bell 'em on 0870 444 6365 |
Update! Join the Ducati Owners Club and get insured through Footman James, much cheaper than Carol Nash! |
