If you think Toseland is hard done by, how many times has Dougie Lampkin been World Trials Champion? Six times? or is it Eight? The guy has dominated the sport for ages and is still up there. The skill, bravery and sheer bike control required to ride sections like these guys do is just as awsome in it's own way as Toseland's. Anybody who doubts the bravery aspect should visit Hawkestone Park for the British round of the championship and be prepared to be amazed at people firing a bike up a 15 foot vertical rockface, then dropping vertically of the other side of it onto a stream bed full of slimy boulders.

Dougie's achievements hardly ever get a decent mention in MCN or the rest of the motorcycle press, never mind the popular media.

Dougie Lampkin - one of the best riders ever, and it's about 12 World titles 7 outdoor and 5 indoor I think, and like you say no mention at all:barfy:
